Peter Ozerski
A short biography

 

 Peter (piotr) was born in Warsaw Poland in 1944, but now very much part of the Australian art scene! Art was an integral part of Peter's growing up in an artistic family as both parents were artists in their own right.
He received intermediate art education specializing in plastic arts, in the faculty of sculpture in Warsaw, Kielce and Zakopane, between the years 1958-1964. Following this early and rigorous grounding he was enrolled in the Warsaw Academy of fine arts, faculty of sculpture and graduated with honours in 1974. Peter continued his studies under Mikolaj Aleksandarow in the Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied the traditional casting and drawback works in sand-moulding techniques and mastering the the process of "lost wax method", practicing with the finest and most experienced Warsaw foundry men  . Further studies were undertaken with Master borchardt in Kopenick and finally he emerged on his own and started his public artistic work in 1974.
Peter went on to develop his own creative and distinct artistic style that exudes incredible power and agility and is characterized with uncompromised attention to detail...these works are often described as bronze that came to life with his magic touch!
Peter continues to live and practice his art in Sydney, Australia with many public works to his name as well as numerous participations in exhibitions locally and internationally.
